As a Usual Activity in Islamic Boarding School

As a usual, and usually who is life in at the Islamic Boarding School, when a clockwise come to number five in o’clock at morning so, we will wake up from sleeping.

This morning I wear a black colour sarong, my white colour sarong is dirty, because I have used it a few days for pray at the Mosque.

Every morning we will listen a sound of our Brother/Mudabbir, he say for us; “Wake up, wake up, don’t sleep again," "Wake up and change your clothes for going to Mosque, quekly don’t be late.”

In one rooms there were a twenty people of us, all of us is were one generation. Finished dressing a koko clothes neatly, sarongs, caps and also not forgetting to bring prayer beads, we are headed/going to the Mosque, in our Islamic Boarding School is there a Mosque.

The sound of recitation/reading of a holy quran had already begun to be heard, before entering to inside the Mosque, we are must to take a ablution/take a prayer water, first.

For take a prayer water/ablution and of course as a usual, it is; first, washing the hands, washing the face, when us washing our face, we are must read a prayer, a ablution prayer;......

After that washing a both of hands up to the wrist boundary, washing little of hair, washing the ears and then washing feet and do not forget after take ablution/a prayer water, we are must to read again a prayer, a prayer after taking a ablution and this is a ablution prayer;......

Likewise before our foot stepped inside the Mosque, we must read the prayer again, a prayer before enter to the mosque;.....

Then, I enter to the Mosque and I sit in the last row/line, I saw in the first line/row I saw the Ustad were sitting, all of us waiting for the Azan.

When the azan have echoed all of us do a qabliah circumcision prayer and after that we are pray for the subuh prayer/morning prayer.

After morning prayer we read a zikir/remembrance. After the activities at Mosque were finished, me and my friend back to the room for following the vocabulary activity.

The division and repetition of vocabulary was ready, we get ready to enter the class, before that, we took time for us to eat breakfast, we brought our own plates and glasses, fish, vegetable, rice and drinking water that already available in our kitchen.

At a time come to thirty minutes past of seven o'clock we have entered to the class, there we will study every lesson that has been scheduled until noon.

When a time come to thirty minutes past of twelve o'clock we are out from the class and get ready to do the dhuhur prayer together in the our Mosque, after doing the dhuhur prayer we are goes to lunch.

At a time come to thirty minutes past of fourteen o'clock me and my friend returned to class, we which was to take part in afternoon lessons until thirty minutes past of fifteen o'clock.

The sound of recitation/reading of a holy quran had already begun to be heard as usual in the Mosque. After ashar prayer, we recited/readed of holy qur'an, sometimes we read the Ar-Rahman letter, also, sometimes we read the Al-Mulk and Al-Muzammil letter.

After reciting/reading of holy qur'an. We are exercise together, even though exercising, but we are choose games that are preferred by each person and I happen to like footballs. At the afternoon, that some from us are visited by our parents and others.

We exercise until the bell is ringing, the bell have ringing, sign that time to take bath is has arrived.

The bell have ringing, we are stopped from our activities. We take a bath in the bathroom of the dayah, the bathroom is a public bathroom for the student and of course we take a shower using ball pant.

Toiletries are also as usual, there is a toothpaste, toothbrushes, dipper, soap, shampoo, towels and more. Incidentally today my toothpaste was gone and I must asked to my friend a little for the toothpaste and he give it. That's how we are here, complementing each other.

After taking a shower we prepared to go to the Mosque for do the five daily prayers, every prayer we would always pray together at the Mosque. We were led/imam of our brother/mudabbir and our ustad.

After the magrib prayer we read the qur'an until the time of isya prayer is arrived/come, after the isya prayer, we had dinner together. And after eating we are immediately went/going to our class for repeat a tomorrow's lessons and also learn of other lessons.

Exactly at twenty-two o'clock in the evening, the bell is rang again as a sign that, the time for learning the lesson was over, we are returned to the dormitory/hostel and headed to our rooms.

We save our books and other learning tools, then we eat a snacks and there were also those who sitting, chatting in the garden of the dayah or at a place that has been provided in dayah.

Exactly at a twenty-three o'clock in the evening we had to be in the room to sleep, and at this hour no more again roaming outside the room, well, of course before go to bed and we are exchanging the stories until our eyes really can't detained again to open.
